Activities conducted under the BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM
The BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM has conducted more than 30 events since its
inception in the year 2017. A few of them are as follows:
Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp
Entrepreneurship Development Meet
Conducted guest lectures from successful entrepreneurs and alumni entrepreneurs
B-Plan Competition
- Publishing a digital newsletter called ‘Venturer’s Voyage’ every month that focuses on topics related to innovation and entrepreneurship
- Using social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube to promote and share entrepreneurship-related content.
- Conducting Ice breaking activities for forum members
- Collaborating with different forums and clubs to organize various events bringing different expertise to the table.

About Budding Entrepreneurs
India is going through transition times. As citizens of India, we must think and change, our old ways of living and making an earning for living. The outcome of Education is a job; we need to change this attitude. India doesn’t need job seekers; this is the time for business owners.
The people of India should think and grow in such a way that they can run their businesses and support themselves. For budding business owners, there are institutions, regulations, infrastructure, seed money, etc. available. The need is to bring the seeker and provider on one page so that the objective of development can be achieved.
The Budding Entrepreneurs Forum will focus on developing entrepreneurial mindset for students typically focusing on teaching business and leadership skills that will help them start and grow their own companies. School of Business (SOB), MIT WPU proposes to foster the BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM as it focuses on encouraging entrepreneurial spirit among the students. The School of Business at MIT WPU encourages its students to develop overall skills outside the classroom, such as leadership, teamwork, and communication skills as it is these skills that will bring success to a student in their corporate career while contributing to their overall growth

Long term goals
Creating a community of aspiring entrepreneurs:
Building a community of likeminded individuals who are interested in entrepreneurship can help create a supportive
environment that fosters innovation and creativity.
Developing entrepreneurial skills:
The forum will offer workshops and events that provide its members with opportunities to develop essential entrepreneurial skills, such as marketing: finance, and business development.
Facilitating networking
Connecting members with industry professionals, alumni, and other entrepreneurs can help them build relationships that could be useful in their future careers.
Supporting start-ups:
The forum will help its members who are interested in starting
their businesses by offering mentorship, providing exposure to real-world business
practices and other resources
Promoting entrepreneurship on campus:
The forum will collaborate with other student
organizations and academic departments to promote entrepreneurship on campus and raise awareness of the benefits of entrepreneurship.
Building a reputation:
By establishing a reputation as a hub of entrepreneurship, the
forum can attract new members, and create partnerships with local businesses, which will help enhance the profile of the college.
These long-term objectives can enable the creation of a strong and long-lasting club that supports its members and encourages entrepreneurship on campus and in the local community.

Short Term Goals
Recruit members:
The forum focuses on recruiting diverse members interested in
entrepreneurship who can bring different skills and perspectives to the group.
Establish a leadership team:
The forum will form a leadership team every year that is responsible for organizing events, managing finances, and developing the overall strategy of the forum.
Schedule regular meetings:
The forum will schedule regular meetings to provide
opportunities for members to connect, share ideas, and discuss their progress.
Develop a mentorship program:
The forum will conduct mentorship programs that
pairs experienced entrepreneurs with less experienced members to provide guidance and
support.
Conducting kick-off events/competitions:
The forum will organize a pitch competition where members can pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges and receive feedback and advice and will conduct events that are in line with its vision and mission to develop the entrepreneurial spirit of the individuals.
These short-term goals can help establish a strong foundation for the forum, attract new members, and create a sense of momentum that will carry the forum forward.
Job Profile of BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM
Dean/ Associate Dean/ Faculty Coordinator
Purpose & Objective
- To provide opportunities for stimulating and augmenting the entrepreneurial spirit.
- To create a culture of entrepreneurship and promote entrepreneurial studies.
Major Responsibility
- Approving events and documents related to event planning, etc.
- Supporting events held by the forum.
- Organize training programs through workshops, mentorship, networking, seminars, etc.
President
Purpose & Objective
- To set the course of action for the forum and bring about synergy with various entrepreneurs, organizations, institutes, etc.
Major Responsibility
- Organizing events or talks and also providing a platform to students interested in entrepreneurship
- Breaking an entire concept into activities to be performed by each department
Vice-President
Purpose & Objective
- To take follow up on the status of activities and manage the administration of the forum.
Major Responsibility
- Conducting creative & innovative activities to promote entrepreneurial skills
- Notifying authorities, students regarding events conducted by the forum
- Maintaining records of the forum
Secretary
Purpose & Objective
- To introduce the BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM to students of MITWPU and also other institutes and select students as members of the BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM.
Major Responsibility
- Identifying and selecting appropriate candidates for various roles in the forum departments
- Distribution of work amongst Volunteers
General Advisor & Treasurer
Purpose & Objective
- To provide solutions for the optimum working of the forum.
- To raise optimum funds or resources available for the forum activities and Budding Entrepreneurs Forum application of funds and to prepare the budget.
Major Responsibility
- Suggest ways to help entrepreneurs and improve the forum activities.
- Keep track of receipts, expenses, sponsorships, and income, if any
- Preparing budgets, getting them approved, and making funds or resources available
Rules /Code of Conduct for conducting events under BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM
- Under BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM every in–house, inter-college, and collaboration event will be approved by the Dean, SOB, MITWPU
- The events are to be planned and further scheduled semester-wise under the guidance of the faculty coordinator.
- Approval for the budget and details of the program will be taken for each program three months before the date of execution.
- Collaborating with different forums and clubs to organize various events bringing different expertise to the table.
BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM Activities and Processes
- The process to be followed for BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM Events:
- All upcoming events will be proposed by the core committee members and will be approved by Associate Dean and Dean.
- Students from the BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORUM and MBA IEM Programme will be actively coordinating all events of the forum.
Funding Details for Events
- The Budding Entrepreneurs Forum will raise funding for events through sponsorship brought in different businesses.
- Internal budget will be proposed to the college three months before conducting any event
